Biography
Dr. Luigia Pazzagli is a researcher at the University of Florence, Italy, where she also completed her PhD. Her research focuses on neurotoxicology and the integrity of the blood-brain barrier, with particular emphasis on the effects of heavy metals and environmental contaminants on tight junction proteins and cerebrovascular health.
