Biography
Jing Li is Director at Hinova Pharmaceuticals Inc., Chengdu, Sichuan, China, with research expertise in DNA repair and translational cancer research. Dr. Li's most-cited work, "The deubiquitylating enzyme USP15 regulates homologous recombination repair and cancer cell response to PARP inhibitors" (2019), has received 95 citations and addresses mechanisms underlying cancer cell responses to targeted therapies. Earlier research contributions include elucidating molecular mechanisms of diabetic glomerulosclerosis, demonstrating how nutrient compounds such as isoliquiritigenin and isoangustone A from licorice, as well as purple corn anthocyanins, prevent mesangial matrix accumulation by blocking TGF-β1-SMAD signaling and inflammatory pathways. Dr. Li has established expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques and in vivo experimental models to investigate disease mechanisms ranging from renal fibrosis to DNA damage responses in cancer.
