Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and debilitating neurological disease that affects the central nervous system. Symptoms of MS can include blurred vision, difficulty walking, fatigue, problems with balance and coordination, and cognitive problems. It is most commonly diagnosed in adults between the ages of 20 to 50, and it affects both men and women. MS has no known cure and its cause is still unknown, although recent research suggests that a combination of genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors may play a role. Treatment focuses on managing symptoms and promoting overall health and quality of life. The goal is to reduce the impact of the disease and help people with MS to live independent, active lives.
