Conservation Biology

Conservation biology is the scientific study of the preservation, protection, and restoration of endangered species and their habitats. It involves the use of scientific knowledge to develop strategies to protect species, habitats, and ecosystems from the impacts of human activities. Conservation biologists use a range of techniques to protect species, such as habitat restoration, captive breeding, reintroduction programs, and disease management. They also work to reduce the threats to species caused by climate change and land use change. The goals of conservation biology are to ensure that species, habitat, and ecosystems can persist in the face of human-induced changes, and to benefit people by contributing to the sustainable use of resources.
