Primates Evolution

Primates Evolution is the study of the evolution of the primate order of mammals, which includes humans and other primates like monkeys and apes. Primates evolved from small, tree-dwelling mammals more than 65 million years ago and have since become the most successful and diverse large-bodied mammal group. Primates have been used to study the evolution of behavior and adaptations to different environments, and have enabled scientists to track human evolution and the diversity of primate species across time. Primates are an important model organism for understanding the genetic basis of behavior, health, and diseases, making primates evolution research a valuable contribution to the fields of Anthropology, Ecology, and Genetics.
