It combines the expertise of computer science, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and philosophy to understand how the human mind works. By understanding cognitive processes, cognitive science provides insight into how people think, learn, and make decisions. Its uses range from optimizing user interfaces on websites and consumer products, to furthering research on Artificial Intelligence and mental health. The study of Cognitive Science is essential to developing better products and services, as well as future advancements in the field of psychology.
