Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal. Payment, student-rate eligibility and fee-relief inquiries do not influence peer review or acceptance.

What the APC supports
The charge supports publication services and does not purchase a favorable editorial outcome.
Integrity checks
Similarity screening, declaration checks and administration of research-integrity queries.
Production
Copyediting, typesetting, proof preparation and HTML, PDF and XML publication formats.
Identifiers and metadata
Crossref DOI registration for registered records and preparation of article metadata.
Hosting and access
Open-access hosting, platform operation and maintenance of the published record.
Preservation deposit
Deposit under Open Access Pub's Portico digital-preservation program as articles are processed.

Invoice, payment and fee inquiries
The corresponding author receives the invoice and secure payment link after acceptance.
Acceptance
The editorial decision is completed independently of payment.
Billing details
The corresponding author confirms the payer and invoice information.
Invoice
The invoice is issued in USD to the author, institution or funder as requested.
Confirmation
A receipt is issued after payment confirmation.
Billing and fee-relief inquiries
Questions about invoices, institutional payment, the student rate or other currently approved fee-relief terms may be sent to [email protected]. Any arrangement remains separate from editorial evaluation and acceptance.

Withdrawal policy
Authors should contact the editorial office promptly and wait for official confirmation before submitting the work elsewhere.
Manuscripts withdrawn within 3 days of submission are not subject to a withdrawal charge.
Manuscripts withdrawn more than 3 days after submission incur a withdrawal charge equal to 30% of the journal's APC.
Authors must receive official withdrawal confirmation before submitting the manuscript to another journal.
